1 quart  Milk
5   Eggs
2 1/2 cups  Sugar
2 Tbs  Vanilla
 

Scald milk, beat eggs until light. blend in sugar gradually. Pour egg mixture into milk and cook for 3 minutes stirring constantly. Put aside and cool well. Add vanilla and freeze in freezer or in ice cream freezer.
