Mix flour and baking soda together, add salt to taste. Mix in milk or water. If it's still sticky, add more flour by the tbs. for a stiff dough. Roll out dough to about 1/2" thick, cut into squares, rectangles, or desired shape. In a heated skillet with approx. 2 cups of oil, fry the bread on both sides until light brown and puffy. Remove from oil and place on paper towels to drain. |
