Procedure In a large stockpot over med heat,warm the oil. Add the sausage and brown,about 5-6 mins. Add the onions,garlic,chili powder and cook till the onions are soft about 4-5 mins. Deglaze the pan with the beer and stir about 1 min. Add the tomatoes,tomato paste,sugar and the kidney beans. Stir well and bring to a boil.lower the heat to med-low and cook uncovered for 30 mins, stirring often to prevent chili from sticking to the bottom of the pot. |
