2 cups  whole wheat flour
1 tsp  salt
1 tsp  baking soda
2 Tbs  honey
1 cup  buttermilk
1   egg slightly beaten
 

In large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt and soda. Make well in center. Add honey, buttermilk and egg. Stir just until moistened. (Batter will be soft.)

Place in greased 1-quart casserole. Bake at 375°F 20 to 25 minutes.

Cool completely before slicing.
