In 3-quart saucepan, combine turkey, onion, parsley, garlic, Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes. Saute over medium-high heat for 7 to 8 minutes or until turkey is no longer pink. Add stewed tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, salt, sugar and red wine (and water if desired). Bring to a boil; immediately reduce heat to medium and simmer uncovered for 15 minutes. Serve over cooked pasta or use as a flavorful lasagna sauce. |
