2 lbs  stewing lamb, from neck or shoulder, cut 1" to 2" cubes,
   with bones
2   onions, finely chopped
2   garlic cloves, finely minced
1 tsp  oregano
1 tsp  cinnamon
1 cup  peeled, seeded and chopped tomatoes
3 Tbs  tomato paste
1 cup  stock - (or more)
2 Tbs  chopped fresh mint
   Salt, to taste
   Freshly-ground black pepper, to taste
1 1/2 lbs  okra, trimmed
1 1/2 cups  red wine vinegar, plus
2 Tbs  red wine vinegar
