1 1/2 lbs  Ground turkey meat
1   medium Onion, finely chopped
1   large Raw egg
1/2 cup  Milk, dry white wine, or beer
1/2 cup  Homemade bread crumbs
1 tsp  Chopped fresh thyme or oregano leaves
(or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme or oregano)
3/4 tsp  Salt
2   large Hard-boiled eggs, optional
1   Bay leaf

In a large bowl, mix together the turkey, onion, raw egg, milk, crumbs, thyme, and salt. Place half the mixture in a 1 1/2-quart dish. Cut the hard-boiled eggs, if using, in half lengthwise and place the halves end to end in the center of the turkey mixture. Cover with the remaining turkey and press the bay leaf into the center on top. Microwave, uncovered, on High for 15 minutes, or until the sides pull away from the dish and the loaf is firm but not hard in the center. Let stand for 10 minutes. Serve right away, at room temperature, or chilled. This recipe yields 4 servings.
