Acorn Squash With Apples
 
1   small acorn squash
1   Granny Smith apple, peeled, sliced
2 Tbs  brown sugar
2 Tbs  diet margarine
 

Pierce squash and microwave on HIGH for five minutes or until tender (turn after three minutes). While it is cooking, mix apple slices with brown sugar; let stand.

Cut cooked squash in half and remove seeds. Fill hollowed squash with apple mixture. Return it to microwave and cook another two minutes or until apples are softened. Top each with one tablespoon of diet margarine.
